Lance was raised in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and has worked in the Information Technology field for over 25 years. He starting working with computers when he was 12 and never looked back. With the mentorship of a friend's father, who worked in the computer industry, he knew this was the career for him.

He attended Minnesota State University, Mankato and went to work for a software company after school. He then moved overseas (EMEA) consulting for Dell Services.
